The Genesis
It was in the spring of 1977 that an idea blossomed in Mrs.Uma Shankar. Founding a Play Home for pre school children. Given her flair for handling tiny tots, it seemed the most natural thing to do for a young mother of two children Bambi Play Home - Italian for a kids creche - seeks to provide pre schoolers with a home away from home. 27 years later Bambi Play Home has come to be known for its homely atmosphere, proficient care and an inspiring learning environment.
What it is all about?
Bambi Play Home is a Play School where children learn to interact with peers, learning elementary social skills, toilet training, concepts, age sensitive vocabulary, natural history and general knowledge, value education, they are acquainted with fairy tales, and games and puzzles all through the fun medium of games and play. All that is taught to the children are conceived in a manner appropriate Gen. X, the exposure they receive and the media to which they are exposed. Ably assisted by her efficient and helpful staff Mrs.Uma Shankar taps the talent of each child to hone the child's skills for perfection, given the child's aptitude. With this kind of training, the kids are able to reproduce these concepts in the mother tongue and interpret facts and figures with astonishing eloquence.
