Establishment of Customers
The entrepreneur is an ex-officer of BEML and since BEML
was importing the Steering Columns for their requirements, BEML
suggested to BINCO to take up this item as a development project. In
the process the first Steering Column was developed & standardized.
The next requirement from BEML was for the development of
Steering Wheel & the same was designed & developed. Both these
products were import substitute items.
Encouraged by the above successful developmental projects,
contact was established with Wipro for the supply of Steering
Columns.
The product was exhibited in Excon exhibition at Bangalore, the
contact was established with Telcon, Greaves, Ingersoll-Rand,
Maximech, Gujarat Apollo etc. The items were developed to suit there
requirements as import substitutes and supplying continuously as OE
