Bharat Survey And Mapping Consultants is an organisation capable of doing the Topographical Survey of land for development projects on various scales like, Engineering, Layout, Estate, Township etc. for any project on desired scale and produce a contoured map for use by Engineers and Architects. We established in the year 1956 by Mr.Srinivasa as a sole proprietorship concern.
We have done a number of jobs for Dams, Irrigation Projects, Townships and Factories, etc.
Modern methods and instruments will be used in preparation of map. The computerised map is given by using Auto Cad 14 or Auto Cad 2000. The experience and training of Mr.Srinivasa is as follows:
Training
Training in Survey of India from 1956 to 1958 in Dehra Dun (U.P) and surrounding Hills.
Training was given in all the various subjects of surveying.
Training was given in use of various types of Theodalities, Levels and other Scientific Instruments.
Experience
After training was over in 1958, Triangulation was done for Mula dam in Maharashtra, Departmental Mapping in Bastar District (M.P.), Srisailam Reservoir, Mula Commanded areas, Narmada Dam in Gujarat at Navagam, Triangulation, levelling and plane tabling for landing and approach chart for Mangalore aerodrome. Control work for Departmental mapping in NEFA during 1962 at the time of Chinese aggression. Control work for Indo-Burma border was done using Tellurometer. As camp officer at four places in Shimoga, Pune, Nasik and Bhuvaneshwar. Extensive areas were covered for verification survey on 1/4 in maps and updating numerous aerodrome / aerstrip information.
As section officer air survey, fair drawing and computation work was done and supervised.
As Technical officer, planning for various development projects were done apart from maintenance of various reports and records.
In short all types of jobs done in Topoparties and drawing offices were done many types of survey instruments handled. Fieldwork was done in Andra Pradesh, Orissa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, NEFA and Bhutan.
