Shree Maternity Home was started in the year 1986 and caters to all obstetrics and gynaecology patients. It has well equipped Labour Theatre and Operation Theatre.
Dr. Hansa H.Metha, proprietrix, Shree Maternity Home is a highly qualified Gynaecologist having experience of over 20 years. She finished her MBBS in October 1968 and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in December 1975. She worked as Assistant Surgeon in Karnataka Health Services for 15 years where she was in charge of a 95 -bedded maternity section in Chikamagalur Govt. Hospital for about 2 1/2 years and also worked in Lady Curzon Hospital, Bangalore for 6 years. In May 1986, she resigned from Karnataka Govt. Service and started Shree Maternity Home.
The consultation time of Dr. Hansa H.Metha is from 9.30am to 12noon and 4.30pm to 6pm on all days except Thursdays and Sundays. Patients are attended on first come first serve basis and no prior appointments are given. Dr. Hansa H.Metha is available for any emergency on all days only for booked cases. No emergencies are attended unless they are booked earlier.
A visiting ultra sonologist performs ultrasound scans on all Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9am and is also available for any emergencies at other time.
A visiting paediatrician looks all newborn babies and is also available for neonatal emergencies. |
