About the Partners

Madhukar N Hiregange, B.Com, FCA, ISA, ( Passed CISA in July 2002) is a practicing Chartered Accountant having 15 years experience and specialising in Excise, Service Tax, Customs law and procedures and Information Systems Audit and Assurance Services. He has addressed more than 110 seminars and is/ has been a visiting faculty at MDP of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and other Management Instititutes Organised seminars in indirect taxations coinciding with the budget and on current issues of interest to the industry every year. He has authored two editions of book on Modvat and three editions of Central Excise Law and Procedures, published by Bharat Law House and Centax Publications of RK Jain, New Delhi respectively. Contributed to the Study Material on Indirect Taxes of the ICAI for CA Final students.

2002 year saw him involved in bringing out an Excise Audit Manual along with Mr. K.S Ravishankar, Advocate. He has also authored a publication for Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association titled “Central Excise Made Simple” for the members. Author of Book published in English and Tamil by Chartered Accountants Association of Tirupur namely “ Central Excise made simple for Textile Industry” Editor of “Infocity Auditor” ISACA Branch Newsletter. Rajesh Kumar T. R., B.Com., LLB, ACA, DISA ( passed CS Inter) aged 26 years has conceptualised the Central Excise Law and procedures trained in central excise audit as a preventive control. Completed his schooling & Graduation in Tumkur. Qualified in January 2002. He is the partner of Hiregange & Associates, Chartered Accountants, Bangalore.

He has written many articles on Central Excise published in various professional journals and presented papers in Seminars. He has helped the authors in authoring two editions of a book on Central Excise Law and Procedure, published by Centax Publications P Ltd., New Delhi, one book on Central Excise Audit and one book on Central Excise Made Simple. The Author has contributed substantially for revising the C.A. Study Material on Indirect Taxes in 2001.
