Company Profile

The very mention of Lalita's savouries of healthy easily digested excellent food preparations. We located in the heart of the city of Gardens welcomes you to a rare treat of savoury dishes and light refreshments. But Lalita's as you see today is not one day's job. It's a dream come true for the lady owner Mrs.Lalita Dutta, who started her Mess along with the support of her husband certain years back. The whole concept started on a very small scale with hardly handful of workers, but with their hard work and by god's grace the taste and quality of their food attracted the whole mob of Bangalore and the big dream Lalita's Paratha Point came into existence.

The face behind the success story of Lalita's is that the lady herself is a very refined cook. As a matter of fact when the whole thing was started it was she who was, the owner, the cook and the head chef whatsoever you call her. Her delicious food attracted some students who used to come their for having their daily meals specially Parathas and they really used to appreciate her cooking and how this young and very beautiful lady was always in the kitchen not considering that so much of kitchen work might spoil her beauty.

There was no time to see what one was eating, as due to very few helpers she used to be busy cooking according to the orders placed. But with the blessings of almighty she always had majority of loyal and supportive customers. There have been times when customers have come rushing to them telling that they have charged less because that time there were no billing machines, no waiters and nobody to see how much one is ordering (the quantity of food). She had always gone according to words of her customers alone. She struggled for some time and at the end she got the fruitful result which is there today in front of all of us as Lalitha's Mess in Domlur, Lalita's Fashion Store again in Domlur, Lalita's Mess again but opposite Ramaya College and Lalita's Paratha Point at Dickenson Road.

Today the whole family is into this business where the oldest of all, that is, the Mess at Domlur is run by the lady herself while the Lalita's Parata Point is run by Mr.Bhupinder Dutta who has always supported her wife (as the lady herself says that without his support and effort this was not a dream come true), Lalita's Fashion Store which is run by her only son Mr.Dinesh Dutta and another Mess run by the manager appointed to look after. They have earned and maintained a position and respect in the market with a lot of hard work that still goes on. Both husband and wife on their own inspect each and every little bit of kitchen to the extent of going and buying the fresh and the best vegetable available in the market. The management of Lalita's is very particular about the each ingredient which goes into cooking. Special care is paid to the hygiene of kitchen and restaurant. The crockery used to serve the customers is always clean and shiny. It is seen that pure ghee is used to cook the dishes wherever specified.

Lalita's specialises in typical North Indian cuisine which includes all Punjabi food and very special stuffed paratha which nobody can beat in the market. One will get all varieties of paratha out there that one can think of be it Gobi, Aloo, Ajwayin, Egg, Keema, Mothi, Paneer or Radish. At Lalita's Mess you will get exclusive Thali's which will comprise of proper meal that includes rice, two chapatis, curd, salad, one dry vegetable, one gravy vegetable, one dal and achar. Lalita's today is also catering not just of big parties and marriages but also for small scale parties like birthday celebrations, kitties, etc. Apart from this it supplies food to various MNCs. It is worth to mention that Lalita's had supplied food for a seven star hotel in Bangalore i.e. Leela palace which it was under construction for whole eleven months. A customer whenever steps out of Lalita's is always very satisfied because he/she gets the best of food at a very affordable and reasonable price. The Lalita's recipe stands unique in terms of quality, nutritious value and a rich flavour of a rare kind.

A meal is never complete without good deserts, so if one is looking for sweet hat delicious Jilebis or delicious Gulab Jamoons or Mouth watering Gajar Halwa then one can always rely on their Paratha Point. There are people who at the end of the day want to have good food to do away their tiredness but cannot find the time to sit at the restaurant for them Lalita's give them take home facility where the food is nicely wrapped and packed in containers and foil. These people have never compromised with the quality, may be that's the reason that the food which they give today stands out and prompts all the Bangalorians to go and eat there. But for those of you who have not been lucky enough, rush to Lalita's and eat their once.

The story does not finishes here as these people have th flair not just for cooking but for wearing good clothes too, as they are the true Punjabis. As such now they have ventured into garment business.
