D. S. Srivathsa is one of the leading singers for Bharatnatyam dance in the state of Karnataka. He is a disciple of Vidhwan Sri D.V. Nagaraja from Vijaya College of Music and a graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Soundarya is a much sought after Bharathanatyam dancer in her genre. Having been nurtured under the able guidance of guru Smt. Narmada from the tender age of six, Soundarya has come a long way in carving a niche for herself with a distinct style of Abhinaya and Nritya. She has learnt the advanced aspects in Bharathanatyam from guru Kum. B. Bhanumathi.
She performed her Rangapravesham in the year 1989 and has completed the Vidwath Examination. She did her Masters in Dance from Bangalore University where she bagged the first rank in the Department of Dance, Drama and Music.
Currently, she is the recipient of the National Government Scholarship awarded by the Department of Culture, Government of India. Soundarya has travelled extensively to the USA and the Netherlands and has left a lasting aesthetic impression over the audience, with rave reviews and write-ups in the foreign media. |
