G.S. Nagesh, son of Smt Subbamma & Sri G.Srinivasa Rao was initiated to the this art form at the age of sixteen. He had his training under the tutelage of Natya Vidwan Guru Sri H.R. Keshava Murthy and his son Guru Sri B.K. Shyamprakash for 15 years and continued his practice under guidance of Guru Smt B.K. Vasanthalakshmi from Kalakshetra, Chennai, at J.P. Nagar Bangalore.

Nagesh has completed Vidwath (Proficiency) in distingtion in the year 1993 and performed rangapravesham on 5th May 1995. He has performed on many stages and many festivals. He is one of the senior most student of Keshava Nrithya Shala and performed main rolls of Keshava Nrithya shala Dance dramas. He has been sponsored by India Dance Wales, Cardiff Wales to perform all over UK. at Cardiff, Manchester, Banghor, Liverpool, London, Bristle, Newport , Swansea, Burmingham etc. He is selected by the audition committee of Bangalore Doordarshan and performed in its productions.

Nagesh is also a B com graduate and diploma holder in Computer Science. He has learnt Karnatic Music under Guru Sri Suryanarayana & Sri D.K.Nagaraj. With his wife he has performed and known as couple dancer. Recently he has been awarded as 'Natya Chathura' by Anjana Nrithya Kalakendra , Chitradurga.

Smt Sriranjitha Nagesh

Smt Sriranjitha Nagesh daughter of Smt. Ratna & Sri G.N. Chandrashekar was initiated to learn Bharathanatyam by veteran Guru Sri H.R. Keshava Murthy and his son Guru Sri B.K. Shyamprakash from past 18 years. Later she continued her training under Guru Smt B.K. Vasanthalakshmi from Kalakshetra, Chennai at J.P. Nagar Bangalore. She has completed her Vidwath (Proficiency) in first class in the year 1998 and performed Guruvandana in the year 2001 May. With her husband Sri G.S. Nagesh she has performed on many stages and many festivals all over India.

Smt Sriranjitha Nagesh has completed her Masters in Bharathanatyam from Bangalore University in the year 2003 in I Class. She has attended many workshops and seminars conducted by veteran gurus. She takes the classes at all the branches of Natyabharathi. She is "B" grade artist of Bangalore Doordarshan.
