Teekays Diagnostic Centre, functioning with a Clinical Laboratory, Specialists Polyclinic and an Endocrinology and Diabetic Centre came into existence in the year 1988 and we are marching ahead with a phenominal progress since then.

Dr.K.M.Prasanna Kumar, MD, DM, (AIIMS) Professor, Endocrinology Dept. of M.S.R.Medical College, an eminent and renowned Endocrinologist and Diabetologist is our consultant since its inception. We are proud to mention here that he is Dr.B.C.Roy Doctor's day Award winner in 1999.
Dr.Mala Dharmalingam, MD., DM, (AIIMS), Associate Prof. Endocrinology Dept., M.S.R.Medical College, is well known Diabetologist and Endocrinologist, has presented papers on these subjects at both National and International levels, is our consultant for the past more than 5 tears.
Dr.Mirza Sajjad Hussain, Paediatrist, had been practicing in Ireland, Dublin and National Iranian Oil Company, Iran for a brief period and on returning ack home he is the visiting Paediatrician in a few Hi-Tech hospitals, is our Paediatric Consultant for the past 10 years.
Dr.V.N.Damodaran, Mapath (Boston), DABP (USA FCAP (USA), Is our senior most well enriched with vast experience Pathologist who has worked at various hospitals in many countries is our Consultant Pathologist.
The Technicians who are working under the dynamic team of consultants are well experienced and dedicated to their task.
Investigations
Under the able and expert guidance of Dr.Prasanna Kumar.K.M. this centre was able to obtain approval from Bhabha Automic Research Centre (BARC) to open Radio Immuno Assay Section (RIA Lab) to perform Harmone investigations. This centre is well equipped to conduct investigation on Haemotology, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, Serology and Histo Pathology. Investigations pertaining to these departments are conducted under the guidance of Dr.V.N.Damodaran who is our consulting pathologist. Besides the Laboratory investigations, we have elegant model of E.C.G. Machine from BPL with auto Recording, Filter for suppression of Muscle tremor with display of heart rate.
Quality Control and Commitment
Our commitment has been to ensure that any patient enter into our premises leaves with only the most accurate diagnostic report possible and we spare no effort, to meet this commitment. As part of our effort, we are the regular member participant of External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS). This programme is run by Dr.R.Selva Kumar, Professor and Head of the Bio-Chemistry department, Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Timings
To suit to the convenient of all section of our patients this centre functions from 8.30 AM to 8.30 PM (beyond that if necessary) an all working days and 9.00 AM to 12.30 PM on Sundays.
